Okok, so I don't actually work THAT much but it feels that way...
Just bummed around today and got to watch some telly for the first time in aaaaages. The last time I actually watched was during the tennis when Charlie and I were "Ha Haas!-ing" Helen until she got annoyed and went to bed lol. It's just not the same when you have to tape things cos you don't have the whole experience of getting annoyed at waiting for the ads to pass.
And I also finished re-reading "Memoirs of a Geisha". I always find it sad at the end cos it's the end of an era. The other day Charlie and I passed a girl at Central reading it while waiting for her train. It had the cover with Zhang Ziyi on it so she was reading it after all the hype obviously. It's quite annoying when people only start appreciating books after a movie has come out based on it. The only reason the book sales jump is because of the movie, but in actual fact, it should be the book which is more famous since if not for the book, there wouldn't be a movie. Sadly it's usually the movie which gets more credit.
Then went to see "Walk the Line" with Hayley and had a good old catch up. The movie was ok, but not being a Johnny Cash fan, not so keen on it. We went to maccas after and saw Brendan there. He was starting work and not finishing til 5am, which is crazy. But when we left he was working so hard sitting on the table with a giant cup of coffee, lol.
